Errol "Flabba" Holt is one of the foundational players in Jamaican music. He was a session bassist during the ska movement, a go-to player for Rupie Edwards' roster of stars as reggae was born, a full member of the Itals and the Morwells, the founding bassist of the Roots Radics, and creative partner of rubadub pioneer Junjo Lawes. Apart from playing on hundreds of records, Holt is a fine and prolific vocalist; "Rastafari Time" was his debut album as a solo artist.
